Here's some quick tips I use for training my small dog to be potty trained.
1. As soon as you see your new dog going potty where he or she is not supposed to. Correct your puppy by putting there nose by the spot where your puppy made that mess, and saying bad to your new puppy!
2. Immediately bring your new puppy outside - where it is ok for your puppy to go potty. And let your puppy do his or her business and when they have reward your puppy by saying good boy or girl, and this tip works great maybe even entice them with a tasty puppy treat. This will reward there good behavior in a positive manner, and encourage your training your puppy to go potty outside in the designated safe areas!
3. Be persistent in training your new puppy, to get him or her potty trained. When done right, and persistently, it should take at least 3 months to do the puppy potty training job correctly! Remember you were a baby once, and it took you time to learn to go to the bathroom by yourself too. Remember these tips and be persistent in your training and your puppy will be properly potty trained before you know it! Good luck new puppy owner enjoy your new part of the family!
